Dollar General Bowl in pictures

Hundreds of Toledo alumni and friends made the trip to Mobile for the Dollar General Bowl on Dec. 23.  Although Appalachian State University defeated the Rockets, 34-0, the Alabama hospitality and bowl experience was outstanding.

While it was not the result for which we had hoped, we are extremely proud of the significant accomplishments achieved by our football team, both on and off the field. We were thrilled that they won the MAC championship in 2017 for the first time since 2004! And, we are proud that all of our UT student-athletes earned a combined grade point average of 3.29 for fall semester 2017, evidence that while we cheer their athletic prowess, we especially want to see them succeed in the classroom … and in life.
