FRIDAY, OCT. 5

College of Business and Innovation Dean’s Breakfast

7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

The Toledo Club, Founders Dining Room 

The College of Business and Innovation Alumni Affiliate will host its annual breakfast, at which you’ll meet the College of Business and Innovation’s new Dean, Dr. Anne L. Balazs, and hear a few words from the College’s 2018 Outstanding Alumna, Sandra Beach Lin, ’82.


College of Law Homecoming Dean’s Breakfast

The Toledo Club, Main Dining Room

The College of Law Alumni Affiliate will kick off Homecoming weekend with its annual breakfast, which includes College updates from Dean Benjamin Barros and recognition of the recipients of the Distinguished Toledo Lawyer Award, UT Emerging Leader Award, the Henry Herschel Community Commitment Award and the Eastman & Smith Faculty Achievement Award. 


Class of 1968 Golden Anniversary Reunion

11:15 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Driscoll Alumni Center, Schmakel Room

The Golden Anniversary Reunion begins with a luncheon on Friday and a guided tour of campus. There are events all weekend, including the Homecoming Gala, a trolley ride in the parade and Sunday’s Golden Alumni Society Luncheon.

The annual Homecoming Gala celebrates outstanding alumni from each college, as well as the recipients of the Alumni Association’s Gold T, Blue T and Edward H. Schmidt Outstanding Young Alumni awards. 


SATURDAY, OCT. 6

King & Queen Homecoming Reunion

8:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Lancelot Thompson Student Union, Room 2582

Homecoming Kings & Queens will begin the day with breakfast, followed by the Homecoming Parade, and the opportunity to be recognized in the Glass Bowl during the pregame show.


Student Government President and Vice President Homecoming Reunion

8:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Lancelot Thompson Student Union, Room 2584

Student Government President and Vice President alumni will enjoy a day full of activities, including breakfast, the Homecoming Parade and the opportunity to be recognized in the Glass Bowl during the pregame show.


Jesup Scott Honors College Homecoming Parade Watch Party

10 a.m.

Honors College alumni are invited to watch the Homecoming Parade in the front yard of the home of the former Dean of the Honors College, Dr. Tom Barden. Click here for directions to Barden’s house.


Edward C. and Helen G. Schmakel Homecoming Parade

10:30 a.m.

Watch as floats, Homecoming court, alumni, honorees, the Rocket Marching Band, cheerleaders and Rocky and Rocksy march the streets of Old Orchard. Our Grand Marshal, Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz, will lead the Parade as it steps off from Campus Drive. The Parade goes on rain or shine. Alumni Association Homecoming Football Pregame Party

12:30 – 3:30 p.m.

William and Carol Koester Alumni Pavilion

The Alumni Association Pregame Party provides free hot dogs, chips, pop and live music from Five O’Clock Rush for all Rocket football fans. A cash bar is also available.


Toledo Rockets vs. Bowling Green Falcons Football Game

You can also contact the Athletics Ticket Office at 419.530.GOLD (4653) or visit the Ticket Office inside Savage Arena to purchase using the alumni discount. The discount is available to use prior to the Homecoming game on Oct. 6. The day of the game, tickets are full price.


SUNDAY, OCT. 7

Black Alumni Networking Brunch

11 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Lancelot Thompson Student Union, Ingman Room

Black alumni and students will socialize over brunch and have the opportunity to interact about future career paths and mentoring.


Golden Alumni Society Homecoming Luncheon

11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

The Inverness Club

Join us for an afternoon of socializing and reminiscing, as we induct the Class of 1968 into the Golden Alumni Society.
