Powering Success, Working Together
Our cross-disciplinary approach to solving big problems continues to attract attention from around the country. |
UToledo’s partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy also recently brought another $5.7 million in grant funding to our campus to help advance the next generation of solar energy technologies. In the last few months alone, nearly $14 million in competitive federal funding has now been awarded to our researchers to create new and innovative approaches to more efficient, sustainable and renewable energy sources.
In recognition of Veterans Day, I’d also like to thank our military veterans among both our alumni and current students. We’re proud of your service! I’m also proud to report that UToledo jumped 43 places in the Military Times’ “Best for Vets” rankings, an annual measurement of our support for veteran and military students, and their rates of academic achievement. There’s positive momentum at your alma mater with innovative research underway and great recognition for our student support services. We appreciate your continued support.
